This week’s super teacher is Sheryl Place, who’s taught ESOL – English for speakers of other languages – at Killian High School for 19 years. And when it comes to her approach, like Frank Sinatra, she does it her way!
Many of Mrs. Place’s students are relatively new to the country. In some cases they require far more than just language-lessons. And that’s where this super teacher really shines!
Mrs. Place recently ran the Superintendents 5K Challenge with some of her students as yet another way to inspire them and help them feel more at ease in their new surroundings
So give it up for this week’s super teacher Sheryl Place, an educator who loves what she does and makes learning a whole lot of fun!
