Pet Owners across South Florida had time for a pit stop last weekend, for a great cause. The Humane Society of Broward County threw a Pit Stop Yappy Hour at Funky Buddah Brewery in Oakland Park. The goal was to educate the community and raise awareness of misunderstood breeds.
Despite their reputation, typical pitbulls are loving, loyal, friendly and obedient. They were even once used as "nanny dogs" to protect and watch over children in their homes.
