27 years after the events of "Terminator 2: Judgment Day," Sarah Connor, played by Linda Hamilton, returns to the Terminator series.
Terminator: Dark Fate takes place in Mexico City where it centers around Dani Ramos who is played by Natalia Reyes. Her character is being hunted by Terminator called Rev-9, played by Gabriel Luna.
Miriam Tapia asked Reyes how she felt about the Latino Power involved in this movie and about her being in the forefront of it all.
"It's really exciting! I feel honored and I feel also responsible, you know. I think this is a huge responsibility for me but I think it is also very meaningful for the latino community, you know it's just great that we finally get to be the heroes and just be the main roles. It's just great that she's a brave, strong, beautiful, intense woman who get what she wants and that she's a hero. I'm really proud," said Reyes.
Miriam also asked Reyes how it was working with her co-stars Linda Hamilton, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mackenzie Davis, and Gabriel Luna
"It was great and I think it was just like this perfect mix of both worlds, you know having legends. Arnold as Linda, you know they are just legends and it's great to work with them and get to know them and know how human they are. They are as human as we are and how smart is Arnold and how he cares about the world. Linda, and how professional she is and how much she cares about every line she has to do. Mckenzie, you know she is an amazing actress, she's really inspiring. Having Gabriel and just seeing also how diverse Latinos can be. It's just great to see diversity in this movie," said Reyes.
Of course, it wouldn't be a Terminator film without any action and in this film there are plenty. Click on the video to see how Reyes had to prepare for the action scenes both physically and emotionally.
