Gather the family around the small screen. Here's what you can stream this holiday season

This Holiday season many families will bunker down and spend time at home.
With so many streaming options, time to narrow down the best movies you can watch with your family this holiday season.

First up, we begin with Pixar's newest feature film.

"Soul” introduces Joe Gardner voiced by Jamie Fox, a middle school band teacher who gets a chance of a lifetime to play at the best jazz club in town. But, one small misstep takes him from the streets of New York City to the great before.

Determined to return to his life, Joe teams up with a precocious soul, 22, who is voiced by Tina Fey, who has never understood the appeal of the human experience.
As Joe tries to show 22 what’s great about living, he may just discover the answers to some of life’s important questions.

"Soul" is released on December 25th only on Disney plus.

“Promising Young Woman” is a thrilling and wilding entertaining story. Where cassie played by Carrie Mulligan was a promising young woman until a mysterious event abruptly derailed her future. She lives a double life and now an unexpected encounter is about to give her a chance to right the wrongs of the past.
The film has a stacked cast with Adam Brody, Laverne Cox, and Alison Brie to name a few and Margot Robbie serves as producer of the film.

"Promising Young Woman" hits theaters on December 25th.

George Clooney returns to the director’s chair with "The Midnight Sky".

This post-apocalyptic tale follows Augustine played by Clooney, a lonely scientist in the Artic. As he races to stop sully played by Felicity Jones and her fellow astronauts from returning home to a mysterious global catastrophe.

"The Midnight Sky" is the 7th film Clooney has directed. The movie is out now where ever theaters are open and available to stream on Netflix.

Finally, coming to the Miami Children’s Film Festival is "The Power of Hope" is an animated short film. And it was written, produced, and directed by Kalia love Jones. A 14-year-old filmmaker who wants to empower others. The film was inspired by Michelle Obama's speech from 2017. Where it was her final speech as First Lady.

"The Power of Hope" will be streaming for free starting December 28th through the 30th. For more information, you can head on over here
