It’s an exciting time in South Florida as preparations for Super Bowl LIV and the corresponding party events are underway.

The Super Bowl Host Committee held a press conference to share exciting details on a free fan festival at Bayfront Park, opening days before the Big Game.

"This is the right place to have a Super Bowl. It's our record 11th time we've hosted, we're going to give everyone a good time. All the fans coming from San Francisco or Kansas City are going to have a really good time," said Mayor of Miami-Dade County, Carlos Gimenez

The week-long event celebrates Miami’s diverse cultures with a slate of concerts, water shows, parades and much more.

"We're gonna have tons of entertainment. We have headline concerts on Friday and Saturday night, there's going to be fireworks in the sky, and spectacular water shows that only Miami can host," said Events Producer, Randi Freedman.

Another really cool feature fans can enjoy is the "Road to the 11th Exhibit," which showcases 10 giant footballs that represent the games that Miami has hosted up until now.

"If you look at the footballs, you'll see that it represents each team and the score. There's even footage if you get up close to it that you can hear of the sound from the games of each one of those Super Bowls. What it leads you to is our LIV sculpture that is at the end of the road, which represents the 11th Super Bowl that we're hosting here in Miami. It's done in water, which has never been done before, so we're very proud of our Super Bowl LIV sculpture," said Sr. Events Producer, Maureen Luna.

Even if you don’t have tickets to the Super Bowl, you can still get your Super Sunday on in a big league way with this free event until Saturday. For more information head to miasbliv.com.
