Amazon Access is here to help those with EBT cards

Posted

Some South Floridians may be experiencing some economic struggles, especially after the holiday season. Head of Community Partnerships for Amazon Access, Nancy Dalton, joined Inside South Florida with helpful tips for registering EBT cards with Amazon Access to give a helping hand to those who need it.

“Amazon Access is our new one stop shop where customers can find out more about programs,

features, and even discounts that actually help make your shopping experience on Amazon more affordable and easier,” says Dalton.

Amazon Access makes it simple to purchase groceries online with your SNAP EBT card.

“It is a very easy process,” says Dalton. “You just register your SNAP EBT at Amazon.com. Then, you can begin to shop and you will see their pantry staples, but you will also see fresh produce, lean meats, everything that is eligible for SNAP is labeled ‘SNAP eligible’ so that it’s very easy to find what you’re looking for.”

Amazon Access also offers layaway payment options as well as a discounted Prime service.

“Layaway is such a cool program,” says Dalton. “First, there’s no credit checks or interest for fees. The way that it works is you put 20% down and you can pay the rest over time. Once it is paid, it gets shipped directly to your door. All of the time-saving benefits that exist with the regular Prime membership are available for Prime Access members as well.”
