Cali Water offers new option to stay hydrated

If you're one of those people who struggles to stay hydrated or can't stand chugging down plain water, singer and actress Vanessa Hudgens has something for you.

The star partnered with long time pal Oliver Trevena, TV personality and actor, to create Cali Water. This drink goes beyond hydration by using cactus water from the prickly pear plant.

Hudgens says the cactus water acts as an anti-inflammatory, is great for your skin, is high in antioxidants, a cure for stomach aches, and much more.

"Prickly pear has so many health benefits that I feel like we're not really familiar with in the States," she says. "But all over the world it has been a go to."

This is a healthy drink that also tastes good, Trevena says. It comes in Organic Wild Prickly Pear and Organic Wild Prickly Pear with Ginger & Lime.

Not only does Cali Water taste good, but it's doing good for the community as well. Five cents from every can purchased will go toward No Kid Hungry, up to $1 million.

"I think especially through the pandemic things were rough for families at home and a lot of kids would be worrying about where they get their next meal," says Hudgens.

Trevana says the drink will keep you healthy and hydrated, but also pairs as a nice mixer for alcohol.

"It's perfect cause it's a heath beverage, but it has a fun element if you want to mix it with your alcohol as well," he says.
