Fit or False: Calories from liquids work the same in your body as solid food calories
True! Liquid calories take the same amount of energy to burn off as calories from solid foods. This is why watching your intake of sugary drinks is important. And don't forget about coffees and smoothies as well.
Fit or False: When you stop working out, muscle turns to fat.
False! Fat tissue is completely different than muscle tissue. You cannot turn one into the other.
Fit or False: It's okay to eat late at night, as long as it's healthy.
True! You can eat whenever you want, it just depends on what and how much you're eating. If your late snack involves sugary sweets, you might not feel that great in the morning. But if you're munching on fruits or veggies, your body won't mind.
