Dive into this culinary experience from South American restaurant chain, Osaka.
Located in Brickell, this Japanese-Peruvian restaurant serves up dishes that combine Peruvian ingredients with the simplicity and precision of Japanese culinary techniques.
"Osaka is a Nikkei concept. Nikkei comes from the fusion of two cultures, in this case, is Japanese and Peruvian. Back when there was a war in Japan, there was a lot of migration that came to Peru. They settled and they brought with them all of their cooking techniques. And that's how Nikkei cuisine came to be," said Pepe Guzman, Director of Operations, Osaka Miami
At Osaka, dinner becomes an experience as soon as you walk in.
"We don't sell a specific food item or specific beverage item. It's a multi-sensory experience, In which when you come in, we hit all of your senses beginning with the smell. When it comes to food, we have a transition in flavors. We start with
the beauty of the cold Nikkei bar. And then the same thing and the same progression we follow into the hot kitchen," added Guzman
Now let’s talk about food. For the first time, Osaka is offering a dine-out experience with their blank box..
The Bento box is assembled with Osaka's best-sellers.
The dishes inside the box are the same fresh ingredients the restaurant uses for its guests who dine in. Also, Osaka curated cocktails to go with the Bento box
When you order any of the four cocktails, they will come with an ice cube, instructions on how to serve it, and their garnishes.
