The United Way of Broward County isn't letting the pandemic stop them from celebrating their Women United philanthropists. Rather than a luncheon, this year the celebration will be held drive-in style at the Hard Rock Stadium.
Magnolia After Dark will celebrates all the members of Women United, thanking them for the work they've done and honoring those who have gone above and beyond.
"I've never see a more dedicated group of people coming together to create change," says Kathleen Cannon, president and CEO of United Way of Broward County.
The event will feature keynote speaker Dominique Dawes, three-time Olympic gymnast, World Championship silver and bronze medalist and a member of the gold-medal-winning "Magnificent Seven" team. After her gymnastics career she began tackling social issues and improving her community for those around her.
Guests are encouraged to bring chairs, coolers, and the whole family for a night of fun in honor of a good cause. Tickets can be found here for the April 29 event.
