Lincoln Road Mall has brought back their Weekend Wellness program, it’s free and in the open-air 1111 parking building. The program includes boot camp and, of course, yoga.

Adrian Molina of “Warrior Flow Yoga” led the first session on Sunday, June 14th following the quarantine as this program returned with new social distancing guidelines.

“It’s the restarting of all our health and wellness programs that we have been doing on Lincoln Road for years,” said Timothy Schmand, executive director of the Lincoln Road Business Improvement District.

Organizers are making safety their top priority.

“The only thing we ask of you is that you sign up beforehand, you bring your yoga equipment. If you need a block then bring a block, bring your mat, bring your towel, bring a little water but sign up beforehand because we are monitoring the numbers very closely. We want to be safe and we want to keep you safe,” said Schmand.

“Because we do yoga for the masses not the classes, if you can’t afford to go to a studio you can come and do your practice with us. The more success we have then the more classes we’ll have.…We have designed the space so that we can do appropriate social distancing and make sure that everyone who comes has signed up, wears a mask in and out of the practice, can take the mask off for the practice, and then when they leave they put their mask back on so we remain safe and sanitized throughout,” said Schmand.

The free yoga is scheduled on Sunday mornings at 9:45. The free boot camp is on Saturdays at 9 a.m. You must pre-register on Eventbrite as the classes are limited to 70 participants.
