From cold coconuts, juices, smoothies, and all sorts of Latin food, El Palacio de los Jugos has been serving Miami for 37 years. They started with a small kiosk and now have 10 locations that feature open-air seating. This video shows the newest site in Kendall that opened this year, just before the pandemic.
They scaled back when the pandemic first occurred, but never closed their doors to the community. Now they’re back to full service while observing all of the social distancing guidelines.
“The business has increased considerably. I could say about 40%, while we were down 70% of sales. We will succeed, we will maintain this, and we will definitely keep this open and growing for the next 37 years,” said Jorge De La Llama, managing director of El Palacio de los Jugos.

“We’re all here trying to make the best of this, this is our world, come and join us,” added De La Llama.
